Lest Ye Forget: MARVEL HEROES #33 is Now at UK Newsagents!

Written by original Death's Head creator Simon Furman and illustrated by Simon Williams, an all-new eight-page feature pitting Death's Head against the ever-incredible Hulk is now available in the UK! Pick up Marvel Heroes #33 from your local newsagent today!

If you're outside the UK, chances are you don't immediately have the opportunity to own this collector's item (or to even read the story, yes?). I can only say if you're a fan in the US and at all interested in seeing the feature reprinted here, your best option is to inundate Marvel Comics with letters (to Hulk Office, c/o Marvel Comics, 417 5th Ave., New York, NY 10016), e-mails (to mondomarvel@marvel.com), whatever you can to convince them to run the story on this side of the Atlantic! Tell your friends to do the same!

You wouldn't want to make these guys angry, yes?

  1. This looks great, Gary! I'm not very familiar with Simon Furman's work, but it looks influenced by early Sal Buscema. I'd really like to get ahold of this, but – if it's at all possible – I imagine you or the guys from the Incredible Hulkcast will do it!

  2. Actually the artist is Simon Williams, Rick--Furman is the writer and he's responsible for many Transformers stories. Simon did one of the "Hulk 100" covers a while ago. Check out some posts from a few weeks ago for my review of an earlier sketchbook project of his, and a link to a lengthy interview at iFanboy about this very issue! He's also on Twitter (@SoulmanInc) and he's got a website too. Good stuff all around!

Like I said, if you can't get this book through normal channels (or even if you can!) you really should let Marvel know you want to see it reprinted here!

  4. Ask and ye shall receive! Well, you get part 3, anyway. Blame the research--you now get part 4, the FINAL part, really, over the weekend! If I say so myself, they're worth the wait!

I can never tell if two comments from "Anonymous" are really by the same person, so please, especially if I know you from other websites, leave a name or alias or something! Thanks!
